The term "Do you love me?" is a question but "I love you!" is always a statement, an affirmation; but never a question! Because when you truly love a person does it change the fact whether that feeling is RETALIATED or NOT?

I wonder how !!! The statement should have been " True love never fails". Take it from me Anna, i bet you a 1000 if you show me true love between a couple..... I am seeing the love my mom's showing. And i know you musn't come up with that !
Not to sound like a cynic but I think most people are just in love with the idea of being in love and being committed to the idea of being committed.
And I have serious issues with what people term as "love".
@nothing: actually I second ur thought. I feel like slapping ppl when they say they dont love a person anymore >.<
If ur in *true love* it can never wear off!!
